IS JESUS COMING BACK?

Q4:157 “That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not”

Jesus wasn't killed on the cross despite an attempt to crucify him. But the Jews assumed he was dead after a few hours on the cross and they hurriedly removed him to the tomb. Biblical evidence showed he was bleeding when he was brought down, a clear indication his heart was still beating. The bible, in Matthews narrated when some people demanded miracle from Jesus he said

Matt 12:39–40 “ But he answered and said unto them; An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall be no sign given unto it, but the sign of Prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the Whale's belly, so shall the son of man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth”

That was the last miracle of Jesus by surviving the agony of crucifixion and 3 days and 3 nights in a tomb as he emerged alive. Just as Quran said he wasn't killed on the cross.

Jesus wasnt taken alive to heaven. According to the Quran he lived and died a natural death to be resurrected on judgment day like any other mortal.

Q19:33 “And peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I get resurrected “

This is Jesus saying that in the Quran. The Quran went on further to show Jesus isn't coming back as most Muslims and Christias assumed. Here is a conversation on judgement day between the Almighty and Jesus

Q5:117 “I told them only what you commanded me to say, that “You shall worship God, my lord and your lord” I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When you terminated my life on earth, you became the watcher over them. You witnessed all things”

This verse confirmed the ignorance of Jesus after his death since he will never be back, or he would have known about what God was charging him of whether he commands people to worship him as God.

ARE HELL & HEAVEN ETERNAL?

But teachings of Muslim, influenced by earlier religions, made it so. It doesn't reflect the justice of God to torment anyone for eternity for a sin of a lifetime that is mere 100 years at maximum.
