It simply cannot, as mathematical and scientific facts forbids it. To begin with, creation Ex-Nihilo is a mathematical impossibility as fundamental kindergarten mathematics had shown 0+0=0. Causality, which was originally a brainchild of Metaphysics has pervaded all branches of science by becoming the most fundamental and essential notions of physics, mathematics and chemistry. The great Scottish Philosopher, David Hume said “If the first object had not been, the second never had existed”Atheistic ideology is slowly creeping under the garb of philosophy of science and planting its B.S ideologies everywhere, which contradicts science and commonsense. This paradox you are asking about is one of such. Scientific investigations about the origin of our universe hit a wall at ten to the power minus forty three seconds after big bang (the time when all the known physical laws we know for now broke down). You cannot raise the curtain and peep beyond that time. Then what gives you the right to say there was nothing beyond that? Accept your ignorance with a simple we don’t know yet, perhaps when we have fuller understanding of quantum gravity we may know with certainty. For now we stick to the facts we have at hand, that nothingness is a mathematical impossibility as we have never seen one and cannot create one.We have scientific proofs of the Big Bang in at least the CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background), which showed us that our universe began some 13 billion years ago from some kind of singularity. From 10-43 second after the bang, our time register began while our space begins to expand (and still do). That point in time was the lowest boundary of our universe which currently expands at 68 km/s per megaparsec. Taking this into account means our universe at 1 billion years, 10 billion years and today at 13.8 billion years and in the next 10 billion years (after the Big Bang), will always have a lower and higher boundary. Tell me, how could a box of boundaries (lower and higher) ever be infinite?The whole idea behind the jargons, from nothing and infinite, was only a ploy using pseudo-science popularized by Atheist in an attempt to preclude any possibility of a creator.

ARE HELL & HEAVEN ETERNAL?

But teachings of Muslim, influenced by earlier religions, made it so. It doesn't reflect the justice of God to torment anyone for eternity for a sin of a lifetime that is mere 100 years at maximum.
